In 2023, I recorded my first podcast.
That show came to life after I was a guest on someone else’s, where I shared my personal story of being alcohol-free for 20 years publicly for the first time, and that one decision changed everything.
That interview aired on a Friday.
By the weekend, I was certain I had made a terrible mistake.
I can remember telling my husband, “I should never have done that.”
I was terrified of the judgment.
But then something remarkable happened.
People didn’t run from me—they ran toward me.
